Still not entirely sure if it is legit. Those who have visited the site earlier on today will know there was a previous version with so called ‘backing vocals’ which turned out to be the lyrics of Collapsed rewinded. The person who put up the video claims it was for copyright reasons as they thought it would be recognised and taken down. Who knows? What do you think? Even if it isn’t 78violet I still think it’s a pretty good instrumental.
Both Aly and AJ will be guests on Loveline with Dr. Drew on the 18th of April answering questions & talking about Hellcats! The show will be on from 10pm-12am PST so be sure to call in! The number is 1-800-568-3191. Aly has been on this show twice before and the first time she leaked the Next Worst Thing so you don’t want to miss this.
I noticed that the site says if you are a member of Club Loveline you can download the mp3 of the show after it’s broadcasted. If anyone has this already please let us know because I’m sure us 78violet fans would love to here the full interview!

Woohoo! Season 1 of Hellcats is done shooting. And I think you know what that means. 78violet music should be on its way! Can’t wait to see the finale of Hellcats though.

All Mid-South cheer squads have a chance to perform live at the first Memphis Redbirds fireworks game on April 9th, 2011. As part of the CW’s promotion of the hit new show Hellcats, The Memphis Redbirds, ABC24 and CW30 are teaming up to bring one talented squad out to AutoZone Park.
Applicants have been asked to go online to abc24.com/hellcats and upload a video of their squad performing a routine or hyping up the crowd at their school. From there, viewers will log on to vote for the winner. Physical DVD’s are also accepted but must be received no later than March 21st, 2011 to be considered. The online voting begins March 28 and will continue until April 2 with the winner being chosen and announced on April 3. Read more… »

Alyson Michalka has revealed that she is planning to stay busy during Hellcats‘s upcoming hiatus. Speaking to USA Weekend, the star suggested that her primary goal is to regroup with her sister and 78violet bandmate Amanda.
“I’m going to be doing the new 78violet record with my sister, so I’m really looking forward to that,” she said. “That’s basically what my main focus is going to be on.”
The Roommate actress continued: “And then maybe if I can do a film that doesn’t shoot super long, because I don’t have a ton of time, but is something I’m passionate about, I’d love to do that as well. “It’s important to just continue to have good intentions when it comes to booking your next film, and not doing it for any other reason but ‘I want to do this and I’m passionate about it’. And it’s important to keep variety in your work, so most likely my next movie would be completely different from The Roommate or Easy A.”

Looks insane!! Can’t wait! AJ isn’t featured in the trailer, but trailer #2 is gonna be attached to Battle: Los Angeles, Red Riding Hood and Sucker Punch in theaters! Hopefully she’ll be in that one! Can’t wait!
