All Mid-South cheer squads have a chance to perform live at the first Memphis Redbirds fireworks game on April 9th, 2011. As part of the CW’s promotion of the hit new show Hellcats, The Memphis Redbirds, ABC24 and CW30 are teaming up to bring one talented squad out to AutoZone Park.

Applicants have been asked to go online to abc24.com/hellcats and upload a video of their squad performing a routine or hyping up the crowd at their school. From there, viewers will log on to vote for the winner. Physical DVD’s are also accepted but must be received no later than March 21st, 2011 to be considered. The online voting begins March 28 and will continue until April 2 with the winner being chosen and announced on April 3.

This is an exciting chance for one lucky Mid-South cheer squad to perform in front of a captive audience of thousands. CW30 will be promoting the competition for four weeks, so get those applications in soon!
